KHONSA : Assam Rifles (AR) on Thursday successfully rescued a vehicle that had rolled down beneath a bridge near Kheti village in Tirap district following an accident.

Acting promptly on receiving information about the incident, troops of Assam Rifles rushed to the spot and launched a rescue operation despite the difficult terrain and challenging conditions.

Demonstrating coordinated teamwork and technical expertise, the troops successfully retrieved the vehicle and brought it to a safe location.

The prompt response helped prevent further damage to the vehicle and provided timely assistance to the affected civilians.

The operation once again highlighted Assam Rifles’ commitment to humanitarian assistance, public safety and extending support to local communities during emergencies. (DIPR)
