Independence Day celebrated at Tuting

TUTING, AUG 14:

The Indian Army organised an Independence Day celebration at Government Town Secondary School here in Upper Siang district, bringing together soldiers, students and teachers in a display of patriotism and community bonding.

A total of 93 students and 13 teachers, along with Army personnel, participated in the programme held amid the Himalayan landscape, according to an Army release.

The celebration featured the hoisting of the National Flag, group songs and patriotic speeches highlighting the importance of nationalism and patriotism in everyday life.

The Army said the programme was aimed at strengthening its bond with the local community while promoting the values of peace, mutual respect and social harmony.

The enthusiastic participation of students reflected the spirit of cooperation and a shared commitment towards building a healthy and harmonious society, the release said.
