DOIMUKH, SEP 2:
A new high-end Samsung ultrasound machine was installed at the Community Health Centre (CHC) Doimukh on August 25, strengthening diagnostic services and antenatal care (ANC) for women in the area.
CHC Doimukh has been providing ANC services with a portable mobile ultrasound machine for a considerable period. The installation of the new equipment is expected to significantly improve diagnostic capabilities, strengthen ANC service delivery and support the timely identification of high-risk pregnancies, an important indicator of maternal healthcare performance.
The District Medical Officer (DMO) Papum Pare congratulated the entire CHC Doimukh team for the initiative and acknowledged the support of MD-NHM Marge Sora, State Nodal Officer (Maternal Health) Dr Bombey Tayeng and DMO Papum Pare Dr R. Rina Ronya in strengthening maternal health services.
“Better technology, better ANC, safer motherhood,” the DMO said.
