ITANAGAR, SEP 13:

Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein on Sunday praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s global leadership following the successful consensus achieved among member states at the 18th BRICS Summit held in New Delhi.

In a social media post, Mein highlighted that leading international publications have widely recognised the Prime Minister’s diplomatic wisdom and statesmanship in unifying diverse economies amidst a complex geopolitical climate.

“A moment of immense pride for every Indian as leading newspapers across the world recognise the stellar leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi Ji in forging consensus among the BRICS nations. At a time of complex geopolitical challenges, his statesmanship, diplomatic wisdom and ability to bring diverse nations together have once again demonstrated India’s growing leadership on the global stage,” he said.

“This widespread recognition is a reflection of the trust and respect India commands under the visionary leadership of Modi Ji. His leadership continues to strengthen India’s voice and shape a more cooperative, balanced and prosperous world,” he wrote on X.

The summit, held on September 12-13 under India’s chairship, themed “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability”, marked a key milestone as the 10-member grouping celebrated its 20th anniversary. (Source: PTI)
