YINGKIONG, SEP 22:

Officers and officials of Upper Siang district bid farewell to outgoing Deputy Commissioner Talo Jerang and welcomed newly posted Deputy Commissioner Ashok Tajo at a programme held at the DC Office Conference Hall here.

Addressing the gathering, Talo Jerang expressed gratitude to the officers and officials for their support and cooperation during his tenure. He acknowledged the collective efforts made towards the development and welfare of the district and urged the officials to continue working as a team and extend their cooperation to the new Deputy Commissioner for the smooth functioning of the administration and effective implementation of government welfare and development programmes.

Newly posted DC Ashok Tajo sought the cooperation and support of the officers and staff and stressed the importance of coordination, teamwork and collective responsibility in advancing the development agenda of Upper Siang.

DDSE Upper Siang Duhon Tekseng appreciated Jerang’s initiatives towards strengthening educational infrastructure and improving facilities and opportunities for students in the district. He said such efforts were important for the long-term development of the education sector.

HDO Oter Gao, DVO Dr Theru Borang and ADC Mariyang Nangkong Borang also shared their experiences and appreciation of the outgoing DC. They wished Jerang success in his future endeavours and extended greetings to Tajo on assuming charge as the new Deputy Commissioner of Upper Siang. (DIPR)
