APSTS staff quarters, ticket counter inaugurated in Shillong

SHILLONG, OCT 16:

A staff quarter-cum-ticket booking and enquiry counter of the Arunachal Pradesh State Transport Services (APSTS) was inaugurated at the Old NEFA Building in Shillong, Meghalaya, to facilitate transport staff and passengers.

Deputy Resident Commissioner (DRC), Shillong, Dr Rani Mibang inaugurated the facility in the presence of APSTS Senior Superintendent Tuter Dulom and other dignitaries.

Dulom said the facility would provide accommodation for APSTS staff and enable passengers to book tickets and make enquiries about APSTS services.

He informed that the earlier building had been demolished by the Meghalaya government for the construction of a bypass road, following which the construction agency built the replacement facility.
