ITANAGAR, AUG 31:

The Directorate of Elementary Education, Government of Arunachal Pradesh, has selected 40 teachers from across the state for the State Teachers’ Award 2026 in recognition of their dedicated service and contribution to school education.

The awardees include Headmasters, Vice-Principals, Principals, Post Graduate Teachers (PGTs), Trained Graduate Teachers (TGTs) and Primary Teachers (PRTs) from various districts and regions of the state.

The Directorate has directed the concerned authorities to inform the selected teachers and ensure their participation in a rehearsal scheduled for September 4 at 10 am at the Banquet Hall, Itanagar.

The awardees represent districts and areas including Tawang, West Siang, Kamle, Papum Pare, Keyi Panyor, Lower Subansiri, Lepa Rada, Lohit, Namsai, Dibang Valley, Changlang, West Kameng, Lower Siang, Itanagar Capital Region (ICR), Anjaw, Tirap and Kra Daadi, among others.

The selection recognises the dedication of teachers serving across Arunachal Pradesh’s diverse school system and their vital role in shaping the future of the state.
