Bharat Scouts & Guides distribute essentials to patients at RKM Hospital

ITANAGAR : The Bharat Scouts and Guides Arunachal Pradesh, in collaboration with the State Scout and Guide Fellowship (SGF), organised a humanitarian visit to Ramakrishna Mission Hospital, Itanagar, on Sunday, as part of its commitment to community service and social welfare.

The initiative was led by Bharat Scouts and Guides Arunachal Pradesh State Training Commissioner (Guides) Kempi Pakam and involved members of the State Scout and Guide Fellowship, rovers, rangers, scouts and guides.

During the visit, the team distributed fruits, biscuits and boiled eggs to patients admitted in the children’s, male, female, maternity and emergency wards. The gesture was aimed at extending care, compassion and moral support to patients undergoing treatment at the hospital.

The programme reflected the core values of scouting and guiding, promoting empathy, kindness and selfless service towards society. Team members also conveyed their best wishes for the speedy recovery and well-being of the patients.

Among those who participated were State Scout and Guide Fellowship State Treasurer Mridula Roy, State Coordinator Taje Mara, who also serves as District Trainer and Organiser of Bharat Scouts and Guides Capital Complex, and Papum Pare District Trainer and Organiser Tasar Meera, who is also Secretary of the SGF Papum Pare Guild.

Ramakrishna Mission Hospital Secretary Swami Vedaswarananda appreciated the initiative and lauded the voluntary efforts of the Scouts and Guides, describing the programme as a meaningful expression of humanity, compassion and community service.
