A District Level Monitoring Committee-cum-District Development Report (DLMC-cum-DDR) review meeting was held at the DC Conference Hall here on Monday to review the progress and implementation of various developmental programmes and schemes in the district.

Mentor Secretary for Namsai district YVVJ Rajasekhar, attended the meeting in the presence of Deputy Commissioner Lobsang Tsering, Additional Deputy Commissioner and heads of offices.

During the meeting, departments made detailed PowerPoint presentations on various developmental schemes, including the Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchayee Yojana (PMKSY) and Rural Infrastructure Development Fund (RIDF). The presentations covered progress achieved, targets, implementation status and issues encountered during execution.

The DC stressed the need for regular monitoring, inter-departmental coordination and timely execution of ongoing projects. He directed the concerned departments to closely monitor the physical and financial progress of schemes and ensure their completion within stipulated timelines.

He also emphasised proper documentation, field-level monitoring and timely submission of progress reports.

Departments were directed to identify bottlenecks and take corrective measures at the earliest to ensure effective implementation of government programmes and timely delivery of benefits to intended beneficiaries.

The meeting concluded with necessary directions for follow-up action and continued monitoring of developmental activities in the district. (DIPR)
