CHIMPU : Chimpu Police Station on Sunday organised a capacity-building session for its officers and staff aimed at enhancing professional efficiency, improving service delivery and strengthening policing standards.

The session, conducted by the Officer-in-Charge of Chimpu Police Station, focused on key aspects of police functioning, including professional conduct, public interaction, quality investigation, record management, procedural compliance and prompt response to law and order situations.

Special emphasis was laid on maintaining discipline, accountability and a citizen-centric approach in day-to-day policing. Officers were encouraged to uphold professional ethics and ensure effective and transparent service to the public.

The interactive programme provided a platform for personnel to discuss operational challenges, exchange experiences and reinforce core policing values. The initiative also sought to motivate officers and staff to strive for higher standards of efficiency, responsibility and commitment to duty.

Police officials said such capacity-building exercises play an important role in strengthening teamwork, improving operational effectiveness and fostering a culture of professionalism within the force.

The session concluded with a team lunch at Galo Foods, Chimpu, aimed at promoting camaraderie, mutual understanding and esprit de corps among the personnel.
