BOMDILA,

Dirang MLA and Advisor to Minister for Public Works Department Highways and Science & Technology, Phurpa Tsering on Monday inaugurated the Smart Public Information Board at Buddha Stadium in Bomdila.

The inauguration was held in the presence of Kalaktang MLA Tseten Chombey, Thrizino MLA Tenzin Nima Glow, West Kameng Deputy Commissioner Dr Dilip Kumar, Superintendent of Police Dorjee Wangdi Thungon, State Bank of India (SBI) Chief Manager Bedanga Goswami, heads of departments and members of the public.

The Smart Public Information Board has been installed at the centre of Bomdila township to disseminate information on government schemes, programmes and public messages through digital platforms, aimed at improving public outreach and awareness.

The project has been sponsored by the SBI, Bomdila branch, under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. (DIPR)
