PASIGHAT : The District MY Bharat Committee on Monday reviewed the implementation of youth development programmes in East Siang and discussed measures to strengthen inter-departmental coordination for effective youth engagement.

Welcoming the members, District Youth Officer Praveen Rao highlighted the vision of Mera Yuva Bharat (MY Bharat) in promoting youth participation, volunteerism, leadership and nation-building.

The chairperson stressed the need for greater coordination among departments and urged all stakeholders to actively support MY Bharat initiatives.

The committee reviewed the progress of Youth Clubs, volunteer registration, convergence with line departments, preparation of the district activity calendar and promotion of the MY Bharat portal.

The meeting resolved to nominate nodal officers in all departments, intensify volunteer registration, strengthen Youth Clubs, organise joint awareness programmes, prepare a district activity calendar, conduct monthly review meetings and enhance digital outreach and publicity to ensure effective implementation of MY Bharat programmes.
