Former MLA Tani Loffa rejoins BJP

ITANAGAR : In a significant political development, former MLA from Seppa West assembly constituency Tani Loffa on Tuesday rejoined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during a programme held at the party’s State headquarters here.

Loffa formally joined the party in the presence of State BJP President Kaling Moyong, Home Minister Mama Natung and senior party leaders.

A prominent leader from the Nyishi community, Loffa is a two-term former MLA from Seppa West assembly constituency and has previously served as State President of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM). He has also held key positions, including General Secretary of the All Nyishi Students’ Union (ANSU), besides being associated with several social organisations.

Welcoming him back to the party fold, Moyong described the development as a “homecoming” and acknowledged Loffa’s long association with the BJP and his understanding of the party’s ideology. He urged him to continue working with dedication in line with the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pema Khandu.

Addressing the programme, Natung appealed to Loffa to share his political experience and organisational knowledge with younger BJP workers to further strengthen the party at the grassroots level.

Speaking on the occasion, Loffa expressed gratitude to the party leadership for the warm welcome and reaffirmed his commitment to serving the people and contributing towards the development of Arunachal Pradesh under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Pema Khandu.
