KHONSA : Members of the School Management Committee (SMC) of PM SHRI Government Higher Secondary School, Khonsa, called on Tirap Deputy Commissioner Badonlum Tawsik on Saturday and welcomed him on his recent posting to the district.

During the meeting, the SMC highlighted the acute shortage of teachers, particularly subject teachers, and submitted a memorandum seeking the early posting of qualified teaching staff to ensure uninterrupted academic activities at the school.

The Deputy Commissioner gave a patient hearing to the delegation and assured them that the matter would be examined on priority and appropriate steps would be taken to address the issue.

The SMC delegation comprised Wangto Hakhun, Tediap Hallang, Nokchop Khoiyang and Sijen Pangkhu.
