The District Task Force on Immunisation (DTFI) Review-cum-U-Mentor Workshop was held at Yupia under the chairmanship of Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner Mamu Hage to review routine immunisation, HPV vaccination, the midterm Routine Immunisation (RI) microplan and preparedness for the Measles-Rubella (MR) Mop-Up Campaign scheduled from October 12 to 17.

The meeting also reviewed implementation of the U-Mentor programme, with emphasis on microplanning, beneficiary tracking, monitoring and inter-sectoral coordination.

Hage directed the DDSE Papum Pare to appoint nodal teachers in all government and private schools and conduct parent-teacher meetings to sensitise eligible children and parents about HPV vaccination.

The workshop concluded with a commitment to strengthen immunisation coverage and support measles-rubella elimination efforts across the district. (DIPR)
