SEPPA, OCT 7:
Education Minister P D Sona on Wednesday inaugurated a series of education and supporting infrastructure projects in Seppa and other parts of East Kameng district, aimed at strengthening the learning environment and improving facilities for students.
The projects include infrastructure development at Government Higher Secondary Schools (GHSS) Seppa and Pampoli, a Planetarium-cum-Astro, Science and Geography Laboratory at GHSS Bazarline and a 100-bedded hostel at Government Middle School Pachi under the New Star Constellation-Based Academic Vision (NSCBAV).
A Type-V quarter for the Deputy Director of School Education (DDSE), Seppa, was also inaugurated along with other education-related infrastructure projects in the district.
Sona said the facilities were more than physical infrastructure, noting that modern laboratories could foster curiosity and scientific interest, while a planetarium could broaden students’ understanding of the universe. He said well-equipped hostels would also improve access to education for children from distant areas.
“Our focus is to ensure that students across Arunachal Pradesh learn in safe, modern and enabling environments,” Sona said, appreciating all those involved in completing the projects.
He said every new facility represented an investment in children and the future of Arunachal Pradesh.
