MIPI, AUG 27:

An unidentified body was recovered from the Mathu River near Brango village under Mipi Circle in Dibang Valley district on Thursday during an ongoing search and recovery operation following the recent flash flood in the area.

Army personnel recovered the body while conducting search operations for five Army personnel reported missing after the flash flood at Paso Pani Army Base Camp.

The identity of the deceased has not yet been established. The competent authorities are carrying out the prescribed identification and verification procedures, and the identity will be confirmed only after the process is completed.
