ITANAGAR, SEPT 9:

Vice-President CP Radhakrishnan planted a sapling of Indian Sandalwood (Santalum album) at the front lawn of Lok Bhavan here on Wednesday, marking the conclusion of his maiden visit to Arunachal Pradesh.

Governor Lt Gen KT Parnaik (Retd), along with officials and staff of Lok Bhavan, was present on the occasion.

The Vice-President appreciated the serene surroundings, lush greenery and well-maintained landscape of Lok Bhavan. He commended the harmonious blend of nature and infrastructure, saying it creates a peaceful and welcoming environment befitting the spirit and cultural ethos of Arunachal Pradesh.
