BOMDILA : A coordination meeting to review preparations for the Civil Defence Blackout Mock Drill scheduled on August 8 was held at the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall here on Tuesday.

The meeting was chaired by West Kameng Deputy Commissioner Dr Dilip Kumar and focused on ensuring the smooth and effective conduct of the district-level exercise.

During the meeting, the roles and responsibilities of all concerned stakeholders were discussed in detail, and necessary briefings were provided. Participants also shared suggestions and inputs to strengthen coordination and ensure the successful execution of the mock drill.

Bomdila Superintendent of Police Dorjee Wangdi Thongon, Heads of Departments, representatives of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response Force (SDRF), National Service Scheme (NSS), National Cadet Corps (NCC) and other officials attended the meeting.

West Kameng district is scheduled to conduct the Civil Defence Blackout Mock Drill on August 8 from 8 pm onwards. (DIPR)
