ITANAGAR, OCT 13:
The Department of Psychology at Don Bosco College, Itanagar, in collaboration with the college’s Art Club and Counselling Cell, observed World Mental Health Day on Monday to promote mental health awareness, emotional well-being and open conversations among students.
The programme featured a creative competition on the theme of mental health, allowing students to express their thoughts and feelings through posters, artwork and poetry. Psychological screening and self-assessment activities were also conducted to encourage self-awareness and help students better understand their mental well-being.
First-semester Bachelor of Arts (BA) Psychology students presented a skit highlighting the importance of mental health awareness and emotional well-being.
The initiative aimed to foster a supportive and empathetic campus environment by encouraging students to recognise mental health as an essential component of overall well-being and to show greater understanding and support for one another.
