JOLLANG, OCT 7:
Don Bosco College Jollang observed World Mental Health Day on Wednesday, highlighting the importance of mental well-being alongside academic pursuits.
The programme was held at the college seminar hall and provided a platform for meaningful conversation, reflection and community support.
The programme began with a welcome address by Rare Sila, followed by an insightful presentation by faculty member Cristina Frank, who highlighted the importance of maintaining good mental health.
An interactive stress-buster session led by Regina Techi engaged the participants, followed by a symbolic “Let It Go” activity facilitated by Yumlam Kakang. As part of the activity, students wrote down their worries and tore up the papers, symbolically releasing negative thoughts and concerns.
The programme concluded with participants taking a collective pledge to prioritise mental well-being, practise self-care and support one another.
