ANINI, AUG 28:

The district-level Rashtriya Avishkar Abhiyan (RAA) 2026 was held at PM SHRI GUPS Anguli here with the objective of promoting scientific temper, curiosity, creativity, innovation and mathematical aptitude among school students.

Students from various schools across Dibang Valley participated in Science Quiz, Science Exhibition and Mathematics Olympiad competitions, showcasing their knowledge, scientific understanding and problem-solving skills.

Held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Director of School Education (DDSE) Anini, the programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students and teachers. The competitions were judged by Duyu Udi Assistant District Officer, Ruchu Tacho Assistant Auditor and Lamwang Aran District Tourism Officer, who assessed participants on knowledge, presentation, creativity, scientific approach, accuracy and overall performance.

In the Science Quiz, VKV Anini secured first position, followed by PM SHRI GUPS Anguli and NSCBAV GUPS Thyee in second and third positions respectively.

VKV Anini also emerged winner in the Science Exhibition, while NSCBAV GUPS Punli and NSCBAV GUPS Ranli secured second and third positions.

In the Mathematics Olympiad, NSCBAV GUPS Ranli secured first position, with PM SHRI GUPS Anguli emerging runner-up.

The programme concluded with appreciation for the participating students, teachers, judges and organising team for promoting scientific thinking, innovation and healthy competition among students across Dibang Valley.
