The Francis Fiesta 2026, an annual games and sports, cultural and literary competition of SFS College, Aalo, was inaugurated at the college campus on Tuesday.

The five-day event will be held from September 22 to 26, featuring various sports, cultural and literary competitions.

Kombo Circle Officer and West Siang District Sports Officer Er Eken Bam attended the inaugural ceremony as the chief guest.

Addressing the gathering, Bam encouraged students to actively participate in sports, cultural and literary activities and stressed the importance of discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship and creativity in student life.

The event provides students with a platform to showcase their talents and develop leadership, confidence and team spirit beyond the classroom. Various competitions will be conducted during the Fiesta, bringing students together in a spirit of healthy competition.

The college expressed gratitude to the chief guest and all those involved in organising the event. (DIPR)
