TUTING, AUG 20:

The Spearhead Division under the aegis of Spear Corps organised a community outreach programme at Government Town Secondary School Tuting in Upper Siang district on August 19, bringing together 43 students, five teachers and Indian Army personnel.

The programme featured a poster-making competition, quiz and motivational interaction aimed at promoting creativity, awareness, responsible citizenship and community harmony among students.

During the interaction, the students were encouraged to understand the importance of empathy, mutual respect, peaceful coexistence and their role as responsible citizens in building an inclusive and harmonious society.

The programme also provided an opportunity for meaningful interaction between Army personnel and the local community, strengthening bonds of trust, cooperation and mutual respect. The enthusiastic participation of students and teachers added to the vibrancy of the event.

The programme concluded with a collective pledge to uphold the values of unity, mutual respect and responsible citizenship and contribute positively to society and the nation.

The initiative reaffirmed the Indian Army’s continued efforts to engage with communities in remote border areas and strengthen civil-military relations through constructive and community-oriented activities.
